Baptism & Louisville
Evie went "home" to Louisville for the second time in July, this time under less emergent circumstances. We spent a full week at my parents' house, visiting with family, friends and even Rhiana's family was able to come up for the weekend. It was an awesome visit, great to see everyone, and the first chance we had to see my Dad at home since his medical condition.
The main highlight of the trip was that Papa baptized Evie, welcoming her into the Church, at St. Patrick. Evie was very well behaved during the baptism, simply giving us a look of "What the heck?" when she got water poured over her head. Rhiana's sister Angela and her husband Christian are Evie's godparents, and Josh stood in for Christian at the ceremony, while Christian was still deployed to Iraq. Here are some pictures from Evie's baptism.

One of the highlights of the visit was that we went to JCPenney and got new photos taken of Evie and the whole family, which is very special to me. The following montages are what I've put together from those sessions.
